The Shard

The Shard development is of considerable scale in more than one respect and within the heading of The Shard development we have been awarded five separate contracts the details of which we note as follows;

The Shard Tower – This package encompasses the design, supply and installation of 6,000m2 Granite paving and Marble cladding to public circulation areas such as the offices main reception and office levels lift lobbies.

London Bridge Station & Concourse – This package included removal of existing Terrazzo paving within the station, the introduction of a new reinforced concrete substrate and 12,000m2 of Granite paving.

Bus Garage – This package involved the supply and installation of 3,000m2 of Granite paving and kerbs to the new bus garage concourse and bus shelter islands.

London Bridge Place – This package encompasses the design, supply and installation of 4000m2 Granite paving and Marble cladding to public circulation areas such as main reception and lift lobbies.

Shard Residential Apartments – This package involves the supply and installation of Calcium Sulphate raised flooring to all internal areas of the Residential Apartments and then high end Marble Paving and cladding to most main living areas including marble baths carved from Solid blocks of Marble.
