The project involved design, supply and installation of Red Sandstone faced precast concrete cladding panels. Grants purchased the sandstone in raw blocks directly from the UK sandstone quarry, processed this raw block within its own in-house stone processing plant, cast onto precast concrete panels within Grants own precast production facility and then our in-house teams erected the units on site.

This was a particularly challenging project, not simply due to the size and shape of the stone-faced units, but due to the sequence dictating that the panels had to be placed after installation of the glazing system, therefore, we were lifting 10 Ton units placed within 30mm of finished glazing.
